Ecogest strengthens its North American platform: IMFH USA & Canada is launched with a €1.7 million investment
Molinari: “We are transforming our international expansion into a structured and scalable industrial project”
Toronto (Ontario), March 2, 2026 – The incorporation of IMFH USA & Canada (Infrastructure Management Financial Holding) has been completed. This new financial holding company is controlled by the Molinari family through Greenway Group Srl / Ecogest SpA, together with Canadian partner EG-SG Inc.
The transaction, carried out through a capital contribution of 2.492 million Canadian dollars (approximately 1.7 million euros), strengthens the Group’s capital structure on the continent and provides a unified structure for the operations already active in Canada and the United States. The holding company assumes majority control of Ecogest North America Inc., Greengest Service Inc., and Ecogest Corp. USA, companies that have been active for years in the infrastructure maintenance sector, a sector worth over $22 billion annually in North America alone.
“We chose to structure our North American presence through a dedicated holding company because we believe that the continent’s infrastructure market requires scale, financial strength, and international governance,” stated Valerio and Tommaso Molinari. “After building a stable operational platform between Canada and the United States over the years, today we are taking a further step: we are transforming our international expansion into a fully structured industrial project, focused on long-term growth and scalability.”
The transaction is part of the international development path initiated by the Group, which can count on a multi-year backlog in Canada exceeding seven years and an intensification of commercial activity in the United States. The new corporate structure allows for the strengthening of local governance, support for operational expansion, and an increase in the ability to compete in a market characterized by high levels of public investment.
“This move consolidates our presence in a strategic area and provides us with a financial structure consistent with our medium-term growth prospects,” added Pietro Torchi, General Manager of Ecogest SpA Italia and director of the North American subsidiaries.
With IMFH USA & Canada, Ecogest takes another step forward in its internationalization journey, strengthening its position in the North American infrastructure market.
